DIY Mountain Cushion

What a cute idea, a Mountain Cushion! This DIY soft crag was thought up by the lovely Mer over at Mer Mag. 

You can get the pattern and the how to over here. I looks really easy, and would look great in a woodland or Scandinavian themed room. 

I also really like that little circle cloud embroidery hoop thingy that she's got on the wall in the background. I might have to make one of those too.

Handmade Heart Cushion

Because Valentine's Day is right around the corner, I felt the house could use a little "heart attack". I made this cushion with recycled upholstery fabric and some red cotton fabric. I love the way it turned out with the neutral fabric in the background and the punchy red heart. In the off season it will live in Emmy's room, or it might make it's way to our bedroom.
